Researchers at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary finds that diabetic women are more likely to develop the risk of glaucoma. The study published at the Ophthalmology Journal states that primary open age glaucoma, a common form of glaucoma among the Americans, can affect women who have type 2 diabetes.
It is worthwhile to mention that primary open age glaucoma is a common disease among the Americans. Experts find it to be a major reason behind blindness.
