The Combination of Occlusion and Refractive Correction Can Be A Better Treatment For Strabismic Amblyopia
Thursday, May 15th, 2008A meta-analysis published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews reveals that combining occlusion and refractive correction with near activities may be more effective than occlusion. The authors of the study, Kate Shotton and Sue Elliot randomized controlled trials, evaluating the efficacy of different methods for treating strabismic amblyopia among patients of all ages.
