   Today the 9 May 2007, I took my grandfather to Mafikeng Provincial Hospital, South Africa for checkup, his name is Mr. Fela Petrus Mantshonyane, born 26 August 1915, he has lost his eyesight for over a period of one year.
   When we visited the family last month after having not seen the old man for some time my husband who is a medical doctor discovered that he has cataract that need to be removed. We organised with Dr Mokgotsi and was admitted today and the first operation will be completed on the 10 May 2007. We are praying and hoping to give him the best present ever.
   These is the best present that we gave to our 92 year old grand father and we hope he will be able to see and enjoy the remain years of his life.

   We discovered that although the hospital is government run they need a tonometre to assist the patients. We are at present looking for means of getting the equipment and donate it to the hospital. These we are prepared to do in the name of our grandfather Mr. FELA PETRUS MANTSHONYANE
