Glaucoma Can Be Cured By Motogenol - A Natural Formula
Dr. Robert Steigerwalt, Jr. and his associates, discovered a new natural product (Mitrogenol-TM) which claims to reduce the intraocular pressure of the eye.
"This discovery is supposed to be a breakthrough in nutraceuticals of the eye health category” commented Victor Ferrari (CEO of Horphag Research Ltd.) and Daniele Giavini (General Manager of Indena S.p.A.)."
Mitrogenol, a completely natural formula, is made of bilberry extract Mirtoselect® and French maritime pine bark extract Pycnogenol®. It helps in lowering the intraocular pressure (IOP) of the eye. The pressure in the eyes builds up when certain amount of oxygen and nutrient rich fluid, brought into the eye exceeds the amount drained from it. The increased pressure then progressively destroy the optic nerve with symptoms setting in with a blurred peripheral vision. Which ultimately leads to Glaucoma.
A study was held at the University of Chieti-Pescara in San Valentino, Italy, involving 38 individuals. After undergoing complete eye tests, those 38 subjects were divided into two groups. There were 20 subjects in the first group and 18 subjects in the other group. Two times per day for six months the subjects were provided with Mitrogenol. Each Mitrogenol™ tablet contains 40mg of Pycnogenol®, French maritime pine bark extract and 80mg of Mirtoselect®, standardized bilberry extract. The other group was followed without treatment. The end results of the study shows that total loss of IOP in the first group was 25.2 mmHg to 22.0 mmHg (-13%) compared to 24.6mmHg to 24.5 mmHg in the second group was (-0.4). Thus concluding that this new nutritional product can reduce the risk of glaucoma by normalizing the intraocular pressure.
