LCA-Vision Announces the Opening of a Second LasikPlus Vision Center in Houston
The second LasikPlus vision center in the greater Houston, Texas metropolitan market of Vision Inc. (Nasdaq:LCAV), a leading provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus brand will be opened.
Coupled with the favorable demographics of the Houston market, expanding into the Sugar Land area will enable the company to effectively leverage the strong word-of-mouth and consumer acceptance of the LasikPlus brand already developed in the marketplace to continue to grow its market share in Houston. Year-to-date, the company has opened four new LasikPlus vision centers, and has plans to open six to eight additional vision centers throughout the remainder of the year.
Similar to other LasikPlus vision centers across the United States, the new Sugar Land LasikPlus vision center employs an experienced team of health care professionals and is equipped with technologically advanced lasers and diagnostic equipment, including Bausch & Lomb, VISX and Alcon lasers, to offer patients a wide choice of traditional laser vision correction and advanced custom wavefront procedures.
