Law Firm Files Individual & Class Action Suit Against Bausch & Lomb as a Result of Potentially Blinding Fungal Infection

The Hodkin Kopelowitz Ostrow Firm, P.A. (THKO) announced that it filed a federal class action lawsuit last week in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, against Bausch & Lomb, Inc.

A Bausch & Lomb product, ReNu with MoistureLoc contact lens solution, is being investigated for potential ties to a rare fungal eye infection known as Fusarium Keratitis. The class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all persons in the United States who have used the solution; although the firm has been contacted by hundreds of former users from across the United States and Mexico who suffered eye infections from using the solution. THKO is already representing many of them and expects to file a significant number of additional cases in the next few weeks.

THKO has set up the web site www.renulitigation.com as a way for consumers affected by the contact lens solution to contact the law firm and to learn more about their legal rights and pending litigation. THKO may also be reached Toll-Free at 877-525-4100.
