Hundreds of people in Dorset are being condemned to blindness because health bodies are refusing to fund a treatment that could save their sight, a report has claimed. وشارك مئات الاشخاص في دورست يجري ادان الى العمى بسبب رفض الهيئات الصحية على تمويل المعامله التي يمكن ان تنقذ ابصارهم ، تقريرا ادعت.
Research by the Royal National Institute of the Blind claims that at least 200 people from the county are losing their sight every year because primary care trusts won't pay for certain drugs. البحوث التي اجراها المعهد الوطني الملكي للمكفوفين الادعاءات ان ما لا يقل عن 200 شخص من مقاطعة يفقد بصره كل عام بسبب الرعايه الصحية الاولية واثقه لن تدفع لبعض العقاقير.
The trusts are responsible for funding anti-VEGF drugs, which are the only treatments for all types of wet age-related macular degeneration - the leading cause of sight loss in the UK. فان ثقة هي المسءوله عن تمويل vegf لمكافحة المخدرات ، التي هي وحدها لمعالجة جميع أنواع الرطب المتعلقة بالعمر انحطاط طاخي -- السبب الرئيسي لفقدان البصر في المملكه المتحدة.
Most are waiting until a patient has lost their sight in one eye before considering treatment. معظم ينتظرون حتى المريض قد فقد بصره في احدى عينيه قبل النظر في المعامله. Others are waiting for guidance from the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice), due in August 2007, before they fund the treatment - yet the Department of Health advised that patients should not be refused treatment on this basis. آخرون ينتظرون للحصول على المشوره من المعهد الوطني للصحه والامتياز السريريه (نيس) ، ويرجع في آب / أغسطس 2007 ، قبل ان صندوق معاملة -- ومع ذلك فان وزارة الصحة الى ان المرضى لا ينبغي ان رفض العلاج وعلى هذا الاساس.
