U.S. study says that Omega-3s—essential fatty acids of fish such as tuna or salmon can reduce dry eye syndrome, a chronic and uncomfortable eye disease which is caused by a decrease in tear production or increase in tear evaporation that makes the tears too “salty”, by 68 percent in women.
